Big Bird clearly speaks the audio of the cassettes, aside eye movement and lip-syncing beak with functioning moving beak when he talks. Includes plastic nest seated stand for Big Bird to be displayed on, 11 StoryMagic Cassette Tapes and 11 matching story books. Each tape is to be inserted in the Big Bird, where it will lip sync and read aloud the correlating storybook. Set of 3 talking Dolls all three do work, they have been tested. They can be a little challenging to get started you have to have the cords (included)in the right places and don’t move them while they play, but they do all work. Big bird plays the tapes and his eyes move, his mouth does not move any more though. Oscar moves up and down in his can and his mouth moves, cookies eyes move around and his mouth moves. All of them take 4 AA batteries, not included. There is also a carrying case for tapes and books. There are six tape and book sets, one book with no tape and two more Sesame St
